Is there anything more beautiful than a crowd of strangers raising their voices to sing a song freedom together?

Goosebumps. You can feel a spirit in this song that goes deeper than lyrics. Freedom.

I'm not Italian but I can really feel the energy of this song, truly incredible. Unfortunately, all my friends only associate it with La Casa de Papel and don't know the story behind it.

For those who were wondering the meaning of the lyrics, it's a song of italian partisans against fascist dictatorship, and also about the fight against nazi-fascist invasion in 1943.

One morning i woke up
O bella ciao, bella ciao, bella ciao, ciao, ciao, (I would translate it as "Bye my dear, bye my dear, bye my dear, bye, bye, bye")
One morning I got up
And I found the invader.

Oh partisan,
Take my away
Bye my dear, bye my dear, bye my dear, bye, bye, bye
Oh partisan
Take me away, because I feel like dying.

And if I dye
As a partisan
Bye my dear, bye my dear, bye my dear, bye, bye, bye
And if I dye
As a partisan, you have to bury me.

And bury me
up there in the mountain
Bye my dear, bye my dear, bye my dear, bye, bye, bye
And bury me
Up there in the mountain
In the shadow of a beautiful flower.

All the people
That will pass by
Bye my dear, bye my dear, bye my dear, bye, bye, bye
All the people
That will pass by
Will tell me "What a beautiful flower".

And this is the flower
Of the partisan
Bye my dear, bye my dear, bye my dear, bye, bye, bye

And this is the flower
Of the partisan
Died for freedom.

This shit give me some goosebumps. I love this song. Full of emotions. Full of history. I swear, I'm French, my grand-grand mother she's Italian from florence, she lost his father in 2nd war. He was resistant against the nazionalist, I'm gonna learn this song with her.

This made me cry. There are still a few who remember the war and all that happened. It’s perfect for the world now.
