Paris is basically a dump...of all the major cities in Europe I've travelled (which is most), Lisbon would be the cleanest. Even the people are extremely clean.

Like here in the U.K.: streets with litter everywhere.
Nobody has pride, even outside their own homes, I pick up litter outside my house and weedkill the pavement when weeds grow where it meets the house wall. I see weeds three foot tall outside my neighbours houses.

All I ever hear about France, and Paris in particular, is that it is dirty, with poor quality, overpriced food. It’s always made me reluctant to travel there and I probably never will until I hear something different.

The Paris City Hall is doing a poor job at cleaning Paris Streets, in fact it seems to be the least of its worries. What a shame!

Across the street from my home is the embassy of Bolivia. And outside is all litered and some of that garbage they dump it outside my house when they come and when they go to the embassy.

Respect for the Japanese. It shows why a country that was nuked less than 3 generations ago has today a thriving economy. And it also shows why some countries remain absolute shitholes despite massive amounts of foreign aid and international attention. Stop blaming others and look in the mirror.

Why not have floating drones (balloons made of methane) and anyone caught littering will have to pay a huge fine, jail time, or spend 5 hours community service cleaning the streets. Problem solved.

Political correctness is all to blame, now it’s always so offensive to stop that lot for moving forward to all the decent places in the world. Nobody wants, or needs them in their cities, not even here in the uk
