To me, having conviction means that I’m not in the business of convincing others. Even if it’s something I believe in with my whole heart, I’m not interested in getting people to agree with me just for the sake of being “right.” I’m interested in executing and putting in the work. In other words, I don’t need to convince you — I’m gonna show you.

That convincing part got me. It’s even the same with a significant other. “Convincing” someone that you can do what they need you to do when they are out is a waste of time

100%. Bring them something they’re interested in and you’ve done a ton of heavy lifting. Bring them something their not sure they want/need and you’re fighting an uphill battle the whole time.

💯 Always an uphill battle to convince someone who is already half-way out the door, rather put that energy towards champions of your product/business, especially in the early days.
