I was 16 years old when I seen this movie.
My son started wrestling in the 6th grade and begun a very hard path. In 7th grade he made it to state but lost quickly. In the 8th grade I gave him this movie and he absolutely loved it. He downloaded the soundtrack and he was 100% undefeated and went to state to win everything. He listened at state to this soundtrack. After the celebration he hugged me and thanked me for the movie and the music.
The 80s were so positive on every level it seemed.
My son earned a full athletic wrestling scholarship to college.
Vision quest is truly inspirational.
I'm a Dad that remembers tough times and great times.
