ARC Rally 2015 - Atlantic Storm

Sailing from Bermuda to Newport in the ARC Rally, a storm developed east of Cape Hatteras and proceeded on a Northeasterly course. We tried avoid it, to no avail and spent 24 hours in 30 to 40 kt winds with 15 ft swells with wind waves. Lucky we were on a Shannon 43 "Mystic" with a great crew.
