To really have your building look more realistic, tint a little of the red paint that you use as the base coat in slightly more orange and brown tints and paint a few bricks here and there to make it more realistic. They don't have to be greatly different in tint, they'll easily stand out enough to make a building look more realistic.

Clarification please. Would I spray the Krylon Clear before painting the white or after...or both. You mentioned it in the beginning, and then at the end of your video. I am ready to apply to a Walthers model kit, and don't want to mess it up. Thank you.

Im confused does the clear coat go on before or after you pain the mortar. First is was said before you start, some one said then after your done.

I used acrilic paint, and painted a small area, then wiped it off with a paper towel. This was before I saw this video. But the way you paint it seems to work better.
