A stunning ride from the heart of Girona in Spain, north of Barcelona, to the top of the iconic climb of truth for all the local pro riders: Rocacorba. Follow Dutch cyclist Robert Gesink (Team LottoNL-Jumbo) as he tests his condition before returning to racing after a knee injury. The ride takes in some of his favourite roads with a nice long rolling warm up and ends with his flat out effort to the top. Filmed on Easter Monday 2015.

Robert Gesink (born 1986) is a Dutch climber and GC rider who finished fourth in the 2010 Tour de France and sixth in the 2009 and 2012 Vuelta a España. He also won the Tour of California, the GP Montréal and the GP Québec. His team LottoNL-Jumbo is sponsored by Tacx.
