Hey, i absolutely love the analogy you gave about how building same dish in your way again and again builds the muscle memory to cook efficiently and its okay to make projects solely for learning purpose and to not mandatorily make it part of a portfolio, i totally get you but
The anxiety and the fact that i am in my last year of college and i dont know much makes me anxious and not truly follow that way of learning with joy i fall for learning with fear and deadline to get a job anyhow before graduation :')

I am doing the same, but it's just that it's for a job that has no deadline for it, so I am having fun with it. And it is difficult too, but creating on my own from idea to project is helping me in boosting my confidence in that particular skill.😊
