How I Convert / Import Excel to MySQL Database

This video demonstrates the easiest way to import Excel to MySQL. It greatly simplifies the process of importing Excel to MySQL database. It automatically creates the MySQL tables and columns and then reads all rows of the spreadsheet and inserts them into the table. Each sheet in the excel file will get its own table.

Excel2MySQL is a standalone utility which can be used to load excel spreadsheets into a MySQL database. This is the quickest and easiest way to convert excel to MySQL. There are other solutions available to solve this problem, but I believe this solution is the easiest and most accurate.

The program is fairly intuitive.  Watch this video to see how it works!
I don't think there is a better excel to MySQL converter available.

Thanks guys... if you haven't already noticed, I have updated the software and it is significantly improved over the version in this video.  So much effort and improvement, that it is no longer free, but it is still cheap.  I am working on a new video to explain the new versions features.

I tried the software from Panofish for MySQL and it worked! I did have to rename a few fields. Later the software would not re-load an Excel file even though I renamed the file, so I Dropped the table in phyMyAdmin, exited the software and then tried it again. This time it reloaded the Excel file into a new MySQL table.
