These videos are quite amazing! I really enjoy watching rocket launches, Spacewalks, and things astronauts do inside the orbital laboratory in space like science and how everything works in microgravity. Greetings from Colombia! ;)

Cool to hear directly from people working on the program.

6:57 That's crazy, one day space flight will be very cheap compared to what it costs today.

Why still talking in feet, inches, and pounds. Archaic and not international...

I dont see NASA decreasing the cost per lb to orbit by orders of magnitude.

As good Americans they completely support it.

If we are relying on leftover Shuttle engines for SLS, how many SLS rockets will be able to fly unless we manufacture new engines?

You know why you're pissed? It's because NASA is failing to do what its always done sinced it was created, and thats inspire people. SpaceX has to innovate and come up with new ideas otherwise it wont be profitable, wheras NASA just gets given a certain amount of money each year, because people have just assumed that it takes alot of money to create rockets and space planes, when companies like SpaceX come along, we realise just how little NASA have innovated in propulsion technology recently.

I cant really see the difference between reducing costs and increasing capability, often times they go together. NASA has had no motivation to decrease costs because if it does then it will simply get less funding. And how can you say SpaceX is barely increasing our capability when we couldn't even supply the ISS after the shuttle was retired? If what SpaceX is doing is "60's tech" then why is it better in every way. Would they, as a competitive business, invest 100's of millions in 60's tech?

Space Launch System? More like single launch system.

First launch in 2017? Viewing this video in 2019 should outrage every American. President Trump has to put the hammer down to make them keep the DELAYED schedule of first launch in 2020.
