Some people complain that this is not a real naked bike. What baffles me is that no other manufacturer has copied this brilliant concept! What alot of naked bike owners (me included) complain about is the lack of wind protection, especially on the highway. Now having owned two Tuonos myself, despite being some years older than the one reviewed in this video, this bike is truly a marvel. Let alone the sound of that V4 is worth the money alone.

Absolutely gorgeous bike, and the engine sound on 2 wheels sounds better than that.

Grazie gregorio, my 22 RS660 was my first Aprilia and although i love the sportbike aesthetics I'm getting a bit long in the tooth for clip-ons (RS clip-ons are great etc etc) but boy oh boy do I miss liter bikes. Aprilia is everything i dreamed it could be, the sound, the feel, just the perfection they put into the riding experience. I'm a huge fanboy, going to keep drooling over your bike. I've owned the duc monster and various bmw and japanese bikes but they just nailed the perfection in this bike, if it wasn't *almost* perfect they would have made massive changes to it since 2021. Bravo

10 seconds in and I feel like I want one ! It's no wonder the Tuono V4 wins the MCN naked shootout - gorgeous bike and a heavenly noise !

Picked mine up 2 and a half weeks ago and already put over 1k miles on it, and it's by far the best bike I've owned. My other bike is a Harley Lowrider S and I figured I'd have both because they fill different purposes, but the Tuono is making me think of selling the Harley because I only want to ride the Aprilia now, it's just so fun

Absolutely an event, couldn't have put it better. I had a BMW before and I loved it, then I rode my Ape and wow what an experience. Every time I jump on the sound, feeling nothing compares.

Once you have ridden one, there is no going back. I just can't imagine not having mine. The sound alone is utterly addictive, never mind the rush of acceleration and telepathic handling.

As a man like yourself, that's had loads of bikes. I agree with you 100%, I have the 21 factory and I think it's the best bike I have ever owned. Also I have to say, this is the best and most sensible review of the Tuono I've seen. 👍

As a current owner of a BMW S1000R (2021), I have been convincing myself of late I do not need 165bhp for the road and planning to head back to a middleweight then you went and posted this video...always fancied a Tuono Factory, and now I cannot wait to test ride one, and that white & gold livery...wow!

Wow, I just bought this exact same bike, but the weather here in the Branson, MO, USA, area has SUCKED all week! 😪I did manage to get about 30 mi of break-in in the Kansas City area where I bought it. On the day I picked it up we had sunshine for the day & 46 degrees (Fahrenheit). Now I'm going absolutely nuts waiting for the sleet & cold to pass! I have it wired for vest & gloves so just 38 degrees + & I'm gone!
I have been fortunate enough to have enjoyed a '19 Triumph Street Triple S the last few years. It has been just superlative with the smooth & torquey triple! I bought it new after 3 years with an MT09 (another great triple engine but not so great handling) As you see, I am moving up "the latter". I'm keeping the Triumph & plan on making something of an ultimate sport tourer of it. The S platform will be great for that with a bit of a windscreen, a low 3 into 1 to replace the high mount mufflers, and my set of soft bags. It has been flawless for 36k to date - for those considering Triumph I can highly recommend the Sp3.
Thanks for the great review! I don't know how you in GB get used to riding with hedgerows so damned close to you & seemingly everywhere! If you're ever in the Ozarks area I can show you some amazing roads with virtually no traffic!! Or, visit CA (I lived there 32 yrs) & the roads are just outlandish! I personally want to visit GB again (was there for 3 mos in college}, ride Wales & Scotland again & then do the Continent, thru the Alps to Venice where these bikes are built! 👍

I've had my 2021 V4 Factory since 2022. Akra slip on and a Gabro tune and airbox. Those mods made it even better!

Best of luck with the new bike Greg, I have the 19 version and it is hands down the best bike I have ever owned, I cannot stop changing gears just to hear that awesome V4 soundtrack, look forward to more update vids 🏍️😁👍

I also took delivery on my new Tuono V4 1100 about a month ago. I second everything you say. My only "frustration" is that I've always enjoyed full-throttle redlining various high-revving bikes i've owned (all 130hp or less). With the Tuono, full-throttle in second gear you're bumping the wheelie control rhroughout 😅, and full-throttle 3rd gear, you're over 100mph with lots of revs to go. So on public roads i find i have to shift at 8, 000 rpms usually to keep my license in tact. I know I'm not going to get a lot of sympathy here, but I actually think it would be a more fun street bike at 900cc, so you could really ring its neck and hear that amazing sound at full glory. That said, I absolutely love it, and it has loads of power from 5, 000 - 8, 000 rpms.

I’ve owned two Tuono Factory models since 2016 and agree with what you said in regard to epic sound and lack of vibes, the v4 is a pretty amazing engine. I regularly got 150 miles/tank but that didn’t include any city riding. Congratulations and hope you get years of enjoyment out of your new bike!

An amazing bike. The ride quality and how the suspension and chassis work together is something to behold. And the engine and Best bike I've ever bought.
