Ed saying they’re working on more than 1 game…could he have been talking about Onslaught? As many MK1 devs also worked on Onslaught.

This game 100% feels like an Injustice sequel….its like you gave me everything I need to make spaghetti but you tell me to make a PB&J with it. No matter how hard I try it’s not going to be the PB&J it’s still gonna taste like spaghetti.

The Kameo system makes so much more sense when you consider Heroes/Villains in DC have sidekicks.

Either way here’s my true gripe. IF this is truly a New Era and we are supposed to be invested in the new universe why not give us real ways to explore the lore? Is the story just not enriched enough? In the KRYPT we had homages, Trophy Rooms, etc to help us delve deeper into the lore. Why not have bios like back in the day? It makes this new era feel quite hollow. I was hoping to lore on lore…I’m not stopping to read every page in Tamriel kinda lore but something. Why should I care about this version of characters? They’ve made everyone replaceable.

As a lifelong fan since the very start of MK, I was expecting this game to be huge! MK1 could've easily been the culmination of 30 years of MK! Just jam packed with all kinds of characters, modes, easter eggs ect. ect. Mk1 could've been the goat! But sadly, in my personal opinion, it's far from that in it's current state. I know NRS can do better, but as of right now, they just seem like they don't care. And the lack of communication with the community/fans doesn't help at all. I just want MK to be better. 🤷‍♂

I thought so. It visually looks A LOT like Injustice in many ways. It looks slightly different from MK 11 graphically as well. More softer tones for the superhero/villain feel i think.

I wish to be included in the drawing. In terms of mk1 it needed an updated konquest mode to explain the new time line. I hope it’s his big surprise he mentioned in a recent interview.

Rain’s character assassination is the most heinous crime of MK1 in my opinion. Who knows when a more traditional version of him will be playable again. He’s my favorite MK character and I miss his hand to hand, swaggy combo fishing style of MK9.

Would’ve been cool if they came to a middle ground like developing a crossover fighter again like it being MK vs DC2/MK vs Injustice. A lot of what MK1 has reminds me of Marvel vs Capcom 1 like it having air combos and unplayable assists like in MVC1. Hoping that might be the next project because I still like the old MK timeline and it’s been a while since we had injustice. Also want me a MK G-Fuel

Back in those days there were more rumours that are completely forgotten now. One of the actors from the Mortal Kombat movie mentioned that their faces were scanned for the game. Many fans assumed that there was going to be another movie skin pack, but nothing happened. I think they cancelled other MK11 DLC's as well.

Don’t forget that one of the many, Many things Boon has said I. The past would be to have potential cross play between Injustice and MK, that would be awesome and I’m not talking a DC/MK game but the actual ability to transfer characters between each game.
Sadly MK1 DIDNT utilize what I thought is the coolest feature in Injustice and those are the stage/screen transitions where you can knock your opponent through a wall or floor…there aren’t even stage fatalities!?!?!?! Hopefully both of these will eventually be doc as well
