Crazy Katydid chases a cricket - real life pokemon

This is a Red Eyed Devil Katydid (Neobarrettia spinosa). They are carnivorous.

This one is eating a Gryllus locorojo, which has been known to beat up some reptiles.

Bugs are weird. Some katydids eat plants, and some eat other bugs. Like imagine if you had to learn to recognize and avoid the carnivorous breeds of cow.
