I collect Barbie, Monster High, Ever After High, Rainbow High, LOL OMG, Na Na Na Surprise, Disney Princess Dolls and so many more! I love fashion dolls and I believe that dolls are the best toys for people to improve empathy and to explore their creativity!

The first series of Extra dolls did have a curvy: the Asian with the iridescent dress. It’s harder to tell with the clothing, though. Oh, yes, and the one with the blue hair too.

Love that Barbie. They should ditch the pets and add alternative clothes. But I think they should make all barbies movable.

fyi: the green and the blue sunglasses are both for the pet, the doll comes with silver oval sunnies that are probably still in the box

The only problem my mother had with doll collecting (we both did it together! Ever after high) was the cost. She was happy we had something to do together, but the back to back releases killed us when it came to the price. Each doll being about 25 bucks at the time would add up fast. I still love collecting dolls though. I pick up ever after high when I can find it online and now I collect rainbow high ( as a senior in college!). I'm confident about it and my boyfriend thinks they are cool too (he's too scared to touch them though since he doesn't want to break them but yet he looks at them when he's over!) Oh! My friends and school mates find them interesting too! Can't wait to keep collecting forever!

They should ditch the pets the plastic purse and possibly the plastic Jewelry and the plastic asscories and the green fuzzy things to put in the budget a for 2nd outfit or to just make the dolls at a lower price to get rid of the pointless panic iteams that'll just come off and get lost not to long into opening the doll and playing with the doll

I am 13 and I still PLAY and collect dolls and I love it!! I still use my imagination to make cool story’s and all that and I love doing it so I love that you are an adult and still collect dolls and it gives me hope that I can still collect dolls when I get older too!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ love you Melissa!!

I played with dolls long through high school. I still play with dolls in my 30s. I decided when to get rid of the dolls in my life and that was more because i moved a lot and had to let things go not because i was too old for them. But now I'm slowly getting dolls again and I don't care what is said. My mom didn't mind going down the toy aisle with me in target last month and helping me pick out a doll and clothes. My dad doesn't care to spend $5-10 on a doll at the thrift store for me. They know my deal. I'm a big kid and I never want to grow up.

I agree that the pets do not go with these dolls at all. I don't mind pets in general, but these mostly look so cheap and boring, and they don't match the dolls' style and proportions. The only one I love is the unicorn pig. If all pets were like this, they would be cool as stand-alone figurines (the pig is proudly displayed on one of my doll shelves). But most of them are blah. The dolls however are great, can't wait for Wave 2 to go on sale in our stores.

Barbie Extra line is the reason why I became a doll collector last year. They are really beautiful, the fashion is good and I love this type of articulation. I actually hate the MTM body, this one is perfect. Yeah, I don't really care for pets and would love a 2nd outfit, but the pets aren't ugly so...

This is kind of salty but honestly I’m really tired of the pets with every Barbie set. Particularly the spa and airplane and grocery store sets etc. it normalizes pets being in these places where pets do not belong, and that’s not a great behavior to model for kids. Give a couple of Barbies service dogs. Include pets in sets like the house set and bedroom sets and dog park sets and backyard barbecue sets, dog and cat grooming sets. There are so many places that pets belong! Pets are wonderful, they’re fun and imaginative, but keep them in sets that take place in pet friendly places. So many people with service dogs struggle to do daily life activities because of pets in places like salons and doctors offices and grocery stores. Let’s not add pets as accessories to places that they don’t belong. We have a wheelchair Barbie, can we have a service dog set? And seriously, pets don’t need to be in every set.

the face mold is so cute but i agree with you, the fashion/colors/accessories are just not well-coordinated and quite dull. I will be getting her, though. I love the pets 😊 i don't have all the extra dolls but have swapped around and have all the pets! 😻

The furry yellow wrap looks bad, in my opinion, but at least it’s easy to find if you misplace it. The doll itself is cute; that Carnaval head sculpt looks both sweet and sassy. I don’t like the pets (or, I would rather have better clothes and accessories), but I can see it adds to play options for kids.
