Honda are doing all the right things - they are listening to their customers. When was the last time you heard of an other manufacturer upping power and downing overall weight. I just hope their added electronics are reliable and consistent. Unless BMW do something radical in the GS bike range Honda are now going to give them a real challenge. Just because you ride a BMW GS please no longer think you posses the ultimate machine that others aspire to have. I hope my test ride lives up to these words!

A classy report. Hello from New Zealand. I have waited three months for my black African Twin 2019 model, it arrived last week with the frame stamped as having come off the production line in August, (last month) just as the the 2020 models are released world wide. Having said that us Australians and New Zealanders probably won't see one in the country for six months if we're lucky. Sounds like BMW 1200 might have some competition. I guess we will just have to wait and see....

Canadian Honda site already has the 2020 AT with prices listed. Base model is 16.5k standard, 17.5k DCT, Adventure Sport is 20k standard, 21k DCT. Canadian prices are usually priced 10%-15% higher than the prices in the US, so you can use those as a rough guide to estimate what they may be asking for in the US market.

I own the 2018 Atas, love its simplicity. I regularly take it off road 'proper' and it is superb. Of course blogs and YT posts demanded more of this and more of that. So here we have it, a Honda GS. New cool perks but I like the bad ass feel of less electronicised models and think I will pass for more expensive from the onset and heavier gadgetry. Yes, they are having a smart go at the market, but can we ask that Honda leaves more rustic models on the ADV market for dudes like me.

£5, 000 cheaper than the BMW GSA - Makes much more sense now.

I'm a GS rider and think now, this is a very tempting machine. Doesn't bother me having 160PS I just like to cruise. What I'm interested in is the price

Adventure Sports just about perfect - huge improvements with lower seat, cruise control, and adjustable windscreen. Now waiting for U.S. prices - under $16k???

The active suspension sounds great as long as everything’s working perfectly but I wouldn’t wast to troubleshoot/fix a failed sensor, seal, air line etc 10 years down the road

I had a GSA for quite a while and sold recently to buy a new LC GSA. If this bike had been around six months ago, I would have given it SERIOUS consideration. This looks like a great machine. I rode Honda dirt bikes when I was young and always loved them. I will be curious to see how people like this new bike!

As a six foot seven wallet watcher, I will be looking for values of used 2018 AT Adventure Sports to drop through the floor, and buy second hand.

I would like tubeless tires. So the Adventure Sports it is!

Awesome looking motorcycle . More bells and whistles than you can ask for . It'd be nice if they came out with a Jr. version let's say around 700ish cc's and maybe a Mini version around 500ish cc's .
What sweet bike, Honda has certainly put a lot of smiles on people's faces with these winners .

Depends on the use you intend for the bike. I will go for the Adventure only for very long distance travels on regular bases

I love the reliability Honda, I take that over everything, they make there machines with precision. That's gonna be my next bike.

I just bought a v-Strom 1000. And I’ll actually be using it in Africa. Less computer is better down here in the land of zero dealer support! These AT are just too complicated for real RTW.

Gotta say I'm not crazy about some of the changes they've made. I think for adventure touring simplicity is a virtue and they hit the nail on the head with the original non-dct twin. Bike looks good and adds a few appealing features but I won't be in line to trade in my 16.
