What is the Kuril Islands dispute between Japan and Russia?

Best to ask the current inhabitants of the islands who they want to be under - Japan, Russia or independent like Timur Leste?

And are they ready to be independent? Because currently Timur Leste people lives are in misery. They fave high costs of living compared to Indonesian themselves

Also may i suggest if endangered species can be relocated to ALL disputed islands in this world.

Check for weather conditions and other forms of physical geography of each island - which endangered animal suitable to be relocated to which island accordingly

This is to let the future generations get to see these animals

These animals will surely be grateful to authorities who give them a new home. Especially when there are so many deforestation around the world for greedy humans.
