Like its okay someone has to take the win and someone has to take the lose, Mbappe is still in his mid 20s and he has a lot of time to go. On the other hand, this was Messi's world cup so let it be and hit history as he was an exceptional player. Mbappe still has a lot of opportunities, there are still many WCS left for him to win. Imagine winning a Wc at 18 against Lionel Messi, it takes a lot of devotion and determination.
For Cristanio he still made history with his unbeatable & surreal records. He's still building and gaining everyday, and most importantly he still has motivation to play. He beat Messi, and Messi beat him. They both made history in their own hits.
Neymar most probably lost his potentional and motivation for football a little too early, but again he was better than any other player based on their 20s. Hes very skilled, and im sure he still has more coming for him. Its definitely not the end. Its kind of deceiving he copied Cristanio and chose money over passion by moving to a Saudi Arabian league at just 31 years of age, but im sure he will still support and guide them.
