Clearly you need to do #1 special teams units since 2010 now to complete the trilogy.

Seeing what the Panthers in 2015 to them now in 2023 hurts me. The energy in Charlotte that year was and will always be unmatched

That Rams Chiefs game definitely IS my favorite regular season game of all time. That was incredible.

Those 2011 Packers were one wild case. One of the greatest individual QB seasons ever, one of the greatest team offenses ever, but they also were the absolute worst in defensive yards allowed that season, allowing nearly 5, 000 passing yards in particular. However, their 38 takeaways led the league and they also fancied a +24 turnover differential. 118 of their 560 points that season came off of defensive takeaways (21%).

The defense's major claim to fame that season went absent in the Divisonal Round. The league-leading takeaway defense only forced one turnover, and the YPG problem for the Packers finally ended up being their undoing, allowing 420 yards to the Giants, with Manning airing it out for 330 yards.

The Packers offense also ended up dropping 6 passes that game, a fifth of the total amount of drops they had throughout that entire regular season, and lost the turnover battle 4-1, the only time all season they lost the turnover battle.

As a true charoltte born and raised boy. That 2015 season brings back so many memories. That was my senior year of highschool and watching them go 15-1 then loose that sb hurt so much

Very interesting that of the 3 times the top offense and defense met in the SB, the defense took it every time. I'd love to see a chart of this as far back as record keeping could take it. That would be very informative.

2013 Super Bowl was the most poetic example of best offense or best defense

brady having some of his biggest losses against qbs like mark sanchez and eli manning is poetic.

edit: no, i don’t think butt fumble is as good as eli manning.

As a Baltimorean that 2019 Ravens season was some of the most fun football games to watch. An incredible regular season year. They really should have won the Super Bowl that year.

What's crazy about that chart at 23:45 is that from 2010-16, the #1 defenses make it further in the playoffs than the #1 offense 6 out of 7 years, but from 2017 to now, the #1 offense makes it further 5 out of 6 years

That week 1 matchup between the Packers and Saints in 2011 is incredible... Randall Cobb scored a 108 yard return TD in his first NFL game. I was at our divisional round loss to the Giants and it was one of the most heartbreaking moments in recent memory

The 2022 Chiefs are the only top offense to win a Super Bowl since 2010? That’s amazing since I’m a Chiefs fan born and raised through many heartbreaks

2013 Denver Broncos will never be repeated, an absolute stunning season from my team, something I’ll never forget

Basically long story short, for the most part, Offense can get you tickets to the championship, but DEFENSE wins championships! I’ve always been a firm believer of that saying and this video proves just that!

Personally I tend to find the 2011 Packers more impressive as an offense than the Saints that year because the Packers defense was significantly worse and yet the offense was so good they still finished 15-1. So I tend to give them the nod that year.

Hey KTO, do you think you can make a video on each division's best season (since the modern alignment) and maybe a part 2 on their worst season? I'm thinking about how bad the NFC South is right now and it got me wondering what the best & worst has been for each division
