Artifice are back with their first release of 2016 courtesy of Circular Jaw boss and all round club track slayer Nuvaman. Within a short period of time the Brummie producer has supplied an onslaught of dub pressure across an impressive label catalogue including GRNDWRK, Heretic, Prjkts, Bunk Audio & TAR, with many more projets in the pipeline.

Nuvaman teams up with Bournemouth’s girl of the minute Charli Brix on the title track “Strength” You would have heard Charli on various Drum & Bass tracks of late including 2 tracks on the album from Eni “Ritual”.

“Strength” Kick of with Charli Brix laying down the mood with her sultriest tones while Nuvaman gears up for an absolute tear out drop accompanied with jungle breaks. The Bassline cuts through like a gem taking it back to the 90’s rave while the reverbed snares and rims roll out in the background.

“Bada” comes in roaring with an infectious bassline from start to finish, turning and groaning through a filtered modulation. This one is for the head nodders for sure.

“Throttle” lays on a more UKG flavor with synth nods and vocal chops to the early 2000’s. Nuvman’s drum sequencing shines through on this track, delivering a trippy 2-step flavor bringing UKG through to 2016.

“Mutu” Starts of with an eerie setting laced with sick percussion and a funky beat that builds into a lovely bass drop with an interesting binaural Soundscape. The energy created on this one is definitely going to be the dance floor favorite.
