Quality is not an act, it is a habit. — Aristotle
Giorgio Sancristoforo, an Expert Artist for the European Commission, and an ancient kithara player performs for a melody of his own, titled Charade, on a LUTHIEROS Kithara masterfully handcrafted in Greece.
The melody is a musical conversation, based on the Locrian Natural 6 mode, a rare form of a harmonic minor scale. It is a discussion between two friends; one is telling a melancholic story, while the other responds enthusiastically.
The recordings took place in Castello Sforzesco in the city of Milan, Italy, where Giorgio is currently living and creating art.
The video's thumbnail depicts a seated nymph with an ancient kithara, which was found at the Villa of San Marco Stabiae, buried by the Vesuvian eruption in 79 A.D.
