Eyelid Surgery Recovery
The eyelid surgery recovery is usually less painful than most of the procedures we perform. However you will there will be a great amount of swelling and bruising for most patients. The stitches that are used are usually removed around 5 days postoperatively. And the bruising will take sometimes up to 2 weeks to resolve. I usually tell my patients that to get back into work or to your usual schedule may take up to 2 weeks. But at the same time they we allow them to have some makeup in those areas at the end of 2 weeks’ time.
