LOL, I'm pretty sure 24 hours in a day is from the turning of the earth, 365 days in a year is from the revolution around the sun (like to keep seasons on pace). I maintain that we should have just had 13 months, so 12 would have 28 days and 1 would have 29, but no one asked me when we designed the calendar. I'm really excited to read beautiful world, I felt indifferent about normal people and i absolutely LOVED Conversations with Friends (which I only read because you raved about it), so I'm curious to see how i'll feel about the newest one.

Love the pink cardigan matching sense and sensibility in the background. Okay can this just be a fashion blog cause the blue of that jumper matches your eyes perfectly. Gosh you’re such a beautiful human💗 and of course that burnt orange cardigan for it and autumn. Autumn is just the best for colours and cosiness and just all of my favourite things! So excited for all the autumn cosy and spooky vibes!!👻🎃

I am 28 year old and a big Sally Rooney fan, so I really loved her new book. I think that we are always going through changes in our lives, in all ages, and life always will require us to work on ourselves. I do not agree that Alice and Eileen are not more evolved than a 21 year old character. At the beginning they are on difficult places on their relationships and careers (and I think that it is something easy to happen in the beginning of adulthood, when we are still learning about ourselves and the world) and they deal with their insecurities, pessimism and fears to build a better life, giving space for the good things. I could identify with the characters because I feel that I went through similar changes in my life at 28 (and hope you don't think me sad for this, being 28 is much better than 21 for me lol). Maybe you should try read it again some years latter to see how it feels. Love your vlogs!

I love how you think 30ish year olds have it figured out and it’s sad to feel sad at that age 😅 Still having existential crisis at 31 🙋🏼‍♀️

I picked this book up because I know you love Sally Rooney & I've never read her, but WOW this book took my breath away! Loved it so much. I think I was THE audience for this book. A lot of the things the characters think about and question are the same things I think about, I'm at a similar age, I understand the feeling about careers, and just in general I felt that I found this book at the right time

Haha your time rant was funny! I’ve always thought the people who figured out the calendar were geniuses! Like how they understood time and weather and the math to figure out the planetary cycles is just insanely smart to me lol. Like I think the days of the month line up with the moon. So cool!

Just finished this morning listening the audiobook and I ended up with mixed feelings, but I was invested in the characters (maybe because i’m nearer to be 29 than 21…) and I really liked that they were older, loved their thoughts on their emails and loved the ending, because for the first time it’s not depressing but optimistic as you say. But also the characters were flawed and I also preferred Eileen & Simon’s story. I actually liked it more than NP although NP is more complex. What I don’t know is if I liked it more than Conversations, I should reread BUT for me it was actually a great book. It’s ok if you didn’t like it as much as the others, everyone is different and Rooney can’t write the same books. Also I think that since Rooney is 30 she preferred or maybe was easier to her to make older characters (including Alice, which we know is Sally Rooney’s alter ego)

Hi again I love how your outfit and ☕️ match your 📖‼️Cake 😋‼️ Getting your 💅🏼 sounds like fun! I love how your cardigan matches your nails 🧡 ! I feel you I’m ready to cozy up with a book and a cup of ☕️ ‼️

Ps: I just finished The Darkness Outside of Us it was so good! Later I finished My Almost Flawless Tokyo Dream Life, it was sweet but I wish it was longer‼️Last but not least I got 13 chapters and 96 pages to go in Oliver Twist it’s which makes me so happy!

It can be disappointing when we build up something in our minds in expectation of a wonderful experience, only to be let down by the work not matching up to those ideas. The Goldfinch anyone?😂

I am reading Conversations with friends, since pretty much everyone is talking beautifully about it... so far is all people staying the night at some stranger's house and fell in love with one another in a blink of an eye
How can a book with so many cliché be so popular and loved? I am not trying to offend people who love her books but I am not getting it

I liked this one a lot but I absolutely hated the ending. It felt like she was like "OK the book is long enough now" and then just wrote "and they lived happily ever after, the end" lol
