How do greenstalks hold up in wind? Has anyone had one tip over?

This is the first time I’ve seen someone explain how the system is put together and planted. Excellent video! Thank you.

I have 4 of them & love them. Be sure to have them on a solid LEVEL surface for even water distribution. Have fun!

I have 12 of them, clearly I love them. Great for greens, herbs, strawberries and anything else I can put in them. I got my first ones about five years ago. Definitely recommend to a friend.

Morning Brian! One of my friends/co-workers asked me what I wanted for my birthday- I said, a purple Lamborghini- she got me a hot wheel- I still have it around here somewhere. Haha! 😁

I’ve had one for a couple years now. FYI, they do not come with the base. That is sold separately as are the wheels.
I love my greenstalk (classic size). I’ve grown peppers, squash, flowers and herbs in it. Rachel from That 1870’s Homestead grew decent sized cabbage in hers last year. They really are great for people who have small spaces and want to grow some food.

I love my GreenStalk. I have one row of strawberries and other pockets filled with leaf lettuce, Tiny Tim tomatoes, Thai chili peppers, and herbs in it now. I'll plant flowers when the lettuce is done, and add another row of strawberries next Spring. Have to put them in the upper rows, as my dog love to swipe 🍓. 😄

Have seen a # of green stalk videos. But never 1 this throughly done. Appreciate details on setup & pointing out benefits of soil protection.

I have two Greenstalks, one for strawberies, the otherb with peppers and dwarf zinnias. They are a great space saver! The origional tower has thirty pockets with five teiers, th leaf tower has seven tiers with smaller pockets. Both are interchangeable, so you can mix it up.

I believe u r the first person to explain that each plate in the middle has holes, n place them lined up with each pocket. THANK U.

You're the first one to show planting before stacking. Everyone else stacks with soil in only. Makes sense to plant then stack.

I have a 7 layer leaf greenstalk filled with strawberries that I love. The base is sold separately (as are the wheels for it) but I highly recommend the "Ultimate Spinner Base" (which is what you have). Don't know if I would buy the wheels again but it is nice to have the ability to roll it closer to the house and cover is when we are expecting a frost. I've heard that because of their weight, they stand up OK to wind, but wheels would also give you the option to move it to a more sheltered location if there was a concern. Greenstalks are also great for people with limited growing space. I prefer the Leaf over the Original style as I would never try to grow something large like full sized tomatoes or deep rooted carrots in one. The Leaf is great for strawberries, herbs, and salad greens.
