Charges dismissed against Aron Ralston

ABC News is reporting that domestic violence charges have been dismissed against Aron Ralston, but not his girlfriend.

According to the affidavit, Ralston "was struck twice in the back of the head with fists by (Shannon), after an argument they had regarding the victim's other son." Shannon alleged in return, that Ralston "shoved her on the shoulder".

Pushing your partner, wife, husband, girlfriend, or boyfriend isn't domestic violence. Unless your pushed so hard and it's caused a serious injury to you then it is considered domestic violence.
