Scuba Diving for Megalodon Shark Teeth in Florida

I found this large ancient fossil Megalodon shark tooth while scuba diving off shore in Venice, Florida. This fossil shark tooth is 5 to 10 million years old.

I grew up in Venice. We were thought to be the "shark's tooth capital of the world " . Venice Public beach before the mid 90's used be loaded with fossils and big shark's teeth. But ever since they expanded the beach by adding sand from the gulf bed it covered up so much . Casperson's beach is still in tact and still has plenty of fossils and teeth
