easily & quickly agreed to all of his largely pro worker demands.

Read the book of Maurice Meisner to know how big was the development and what the Chinese people achieved with socialism under Mao. And that was achieved depending of its own resources, without exploitation by Chinese and foreign big capitalists!!!! Deng Xiaoping develop productive production by abandoning socialist relation of production!!!

Talk about revisionism and being ahistorical. The definition of Socialism is providing citizens with basic needs? China did not abandon the road towards communism for a road towards capitalism? China still teaches the revolutionary traditions of Marx, Lenon, and Mao?

Sorry Mr. Hammond. China's involvement with Jamaica should not be trivialized or dismissed as mistakes. This is a deliberate and calculated "plan" and Jamaica can best described as a canary in the coal mine.
