FIVE LAKHS STOLEN FROM MY ACCOUNT

Hi Guys!

So i recently went to Singapore for a trip on Dreamcruise and while I was on the cruise someone stole 5 Lakhs from my account. Find out all about why it happened and how to be safe. Hi Aakriti !! I’m a student now in london. These cases are very common here. It happened to my class mates. I would suggest you to get a Monzo card. I keep only £50 for my daily purchases. If I make a bigger purchase, I transfer the money to the Monzo card from the bank card when I make the payment. This is quite useful for me. Hope this helps someone.

A thing happened with me when I received an email in the name of YouTube. It said to verify the credentials else the YouTube account will be deleted. Now, knowing how hard it is to make a channel stand and getting this kinda mail, I was terrified because the mail had original YouTube Logo and other things.

What I did was, I didn't clicked that link instantly rather I mail YouTube describing what this mail said.

Now, Imaging the reply I got from they clearly said that YouTube will never ask you to give your personal details or passwords which that mail asked for.. I thanked them for saving my life. ..

I have learnt a lesson from your experience as well ... Thankyou so much for sharing..

First of all let me tell you Aakriti that you are really brave and you handled everything so well so kudos to you..and I really pray n hope that you get all your money back. We all have to be really careful these days coz we use our cards all the time. A little care that I take these days is whenever I see that my account has got a large amount of money which I don't require right now I just transfer that extra amount to my another account which I do not use for shopping n all so basically the card that I use for shopping n other purchases is of the account which has only a particular amount of money which I need every month for expenses here in India. And When I'm abroad I use cash only, I never use cards.
