Huohuo is unironically one of the best values per pulls since the games launch right alongside Fu.

She's two of the strongest roles in one (Buffer/Sustainer) and her ult will scale with future units that have expensive ultimate's.

Her on turn healing is bar none the strongest in the game, and with her lightcone can even sustain extremely well with off turn.


If you have Huohuo on one side and Fu on the other, you can almost 100% clear MoC 10 with zero issues if you have half competently built F2P DPS.

The amount of cleanses is what worries me, luocha sure is sp positive and has cleanse but huohuo having so much cleanse might be a trailer to something in future and its not looking good

I finally cleared moc 10 with her. Really great with my Kafka team. Having a healer but also another buffer is really great.

I had Gepard, Bailu and Lynx already so I was really on the fence if I should get her or not. I ended up going for it and I have zero regrets. She's such a good battery for my Jingliu/Seele, especially with Tingyun. Very comfy heals and a ridiculous amount of dispels. Only thing to note is that there's no emergency heals, so newer people who haven't built their characters might suffer a bit when doing challenging content.

This was a fair review, but I have the same issue as I did with others:

Everyone is just looking at her as a healer, in which case her heals are slightly worse than luocha's => "worse luocha".
I feel that her energy restoration in addition to her massive atk buffs, and the fact that she is literally the best cleanser so far are being too overlooked because they evaluate her as "just a healer".

Her only real downside is that she is just barely skill point positive/neutral.

I feel the longer the game goes along pure healers/sustains are easier to get powercrept than those who can offer more than just heals.

It's the reason why Fu is so busted cause she does so much more than sustainability with her cc prevention & crit buffs. You can add Huohuo to this list cause like Fu she can do more than just heal. Her cleansing ability is so good, throw in her energy recharge & atk buff. She's literally 2 units in one.

As good as Luocha is right now i can see him be the one who gets powercrept by even stronger healers who can provide more than just heals, even more so than say Huohuo. Though i rather Hoyoverse do more side-grades than straight powercreeping.

I prefer preservation units. I might hold off for now and wait for the next preservation unit.

Ill probably wait for the "Spiked Shield" unit, one that counters through attack, debuff, or DoT, or maybe all of these in one.

I Had Fu Gepard and Lynx, Got Huohuo on Guarantee after losing E1 Topaz to E1 Clara (What I wanted) and I am very satisfied with Her. Legit her Healing isn't 4000 atk Loucha Healing but she is legit is amazing when it comes to her supportive capabilities. Hence why I got her.

Even though I'm lacking a secondary solo sustain unit I still wont be pulling for her, since I am 100% on the Dr. Ratio train after seeing his animations- any character that summons a marble statue of themselves doing a sexy hero pose is a must pull in my eyes. Also missed getting Blade the first time and he's supposedly going to be rerun in 1.6 so I'm stocking up for husbandos.

I wanted to get her as well but then I realized I already have Luocha and Fu xuan its like a waste getting her for me, I just got HuoHuo's LC for Luocha since the LC itself is like a abundance unit on its own hahah

I definitely didn't *need* her, but I'm glad I got her. My next target was Hanya, but I was ~5 pulls away from pity (was pulling for Topaz but had second thoughts) and decided she'd be more useful than Argenti or SW eidolons. Probably wouldn't have done it if I was pure f2p and not a bp/monthly card player, but I probably also wouldn't be chasing 4-stars in that case...

I already had 2 dps (Kafka and IL) but only had Fire mc, Lynx and Natasha as substain so I wanted good supports and pulled for her.

Now I’ll try to get silver wolf (doubt I’ll get her but I’ll try) and after that I’ll keep my gems for Black Swan when she will comes out and an eventual Fu Xuan rerun.

If i was a dolphin or whale, i would've summon for her day 1 of her release. But me as only spending for monthly pass, i am forced to skip some banners. Also i have Fu Xuan already and Luocha so it makes no sense to pull for another abundance no matter how good it is. If i didnt have Luocha then i could've considered. So yes i agree, for accounts with enough sustains already, she isn't a must have.

I started when the game came out and my healers are just Luocha and Natalia so I picked her up and damn she was a good pickup for my account

I have every sustain unit except Bailu now. I like swapping them out. Need sp and dispel go Loucha. Need Attack, energy, and cleanses? Go Huo Huo. Need to no get one shot go Fu Xuan. Too many sustain paid dividends in Genshin. Maybe it will be the same here.

She is definitely worth it if you think her playstyle is fun. She's got some nuances that gives you options on you approach her build and approach decision making in battle. But it does make her less auto-play friendly compared to Fu Xuan and Loucha. She's more of a unit that's absolutely cracked if you know what you're doing and you don't like auto-play. Because she is fun as hell to use with your busted as fuck DPS units.

I already have Fu Xuan, Loucha and Lynx, and yet I still rolled for Huohuo because she is amazing for Jingliu hyper carry team and very good for DOT team comps. If you like seeing big damage while having at least one solo sustain on your team, Huohuo's good for that.

However, if you're a pure F2P player, and you already got a Fu Xuan and Loucha, should definitely skip because those two can definitely solo sustain you for years to come. Huohuo is stronger than Loucha for sure because of the way her cleanse work. She's is broken as fuck in Swarm Disaster. She negates a lot of the problem other big boss units throw on you as well. She is just broken as fuck. But she is still not needed if you're F2P and you got two of the strongest sustains in-game.

Tectone did hard cope and try to justify not pulling for her, because unfortunately, the little manchild does not know how to read properly. I'm not sure if he's being intentionally stupid by misinforming his viewers as to why Loucha's better than her, or if he's just trying his best to justify why he's not pulling for her. He could of just said "I am purely free to play, I already got Fu Xuan and Loucha, so I can just skip and it technically won't put me at a major disadvantage anyway."

I didn't understand why Tectone couldn't just say that. If you're F2P with two very powerful solo sustain characters, Huohuo's not needed unless you really love her playstyle and she makes another one of your broken DPS characters (like Jingliu) even more incredibly fun to play.

Im glad that i got her. My only sustains were Nat and Bailu, she is a god send. Also makes Jingliu turbo fun!

Lost my 50/50 on both Luocha and FuXuan, had to build my Gepard cause I got his lightcone on standard banner and manage with a Lynx in MoC on one side, so I had to get her and I'm glad I won my 50/50 on her tbh.
