I had 2 working GameGears that my father bought for my sisters and I back in the 90s. They were in excellent condition, both had carrying cases that were like a laptop satchel, and I had at least a dozen games. I was an idiot and sold them at a garage sale around 2010. To this day, it’s one of my biggest regrets.

My poor game gear perished in the sun in the car. I forgot to put it away into the shadows to survive.
I remember playing the baseball game that was on it all the time. Also had sonic 4 it.

Sega GG is a savage battery consuming wise. I hope you can wire it to some 5v / 9v/ 12v power adapter. One of my devices had 3x 1.5V batteries, so 4, 5V total - it went well with my 5V-1A adapter. I soldered it directly to battery slot contacts.

I've had a Game Gear since they were new. Played it maybe 10 times back in the day. It's been in a canvas carrying bag with the batteries removed ever since. Mint condition
