One year since the Taliban seized control of Afghanistan, life remains increasingly difficult for Afghans.

Most of the attention from the West has focused on the Taliban's draconian social restrictions on women, girls and minorities, said Vali Nasr, a professor of Middle East Studies at Johns Hopkins, after the Taliban barred girls from attending school after age 12 and eliminated many women's personal freedoms.

But the top concern in Afghanistan today is the economy.

The Taliban were placed into power through a deal with the compliance of the traitorous Ghani regime. It was and is a catastrophe for the people of Afghanistan.

Those people don't get it..Never WILL...Us taking off like that and leaving that kind of hardware there seems to point to the glaring reality WE didn't get it either...A bunch of gunmen go thru the afghan army about 5 miles an hour faster than the NVA went thru the our track record of backing the wrong teams remains unblemished..
