Awesome job! Better than my first scroll saw project was! I don’t recommend using spirals for a puzzle. The curf is wider so the puzzle doesn’t lock together as well.

Here's my advice for what is worth
Get carbon paper and trace your designs directly onto the wood with carbon paper. It is like following drawer lines instead of dealing with paper under the saw. Been doing this for years. Also just bought this saw looking forward to using it.

Very nice project! I wish I knew exactly how to keep the tensioner bolt tight. Not to be a wise guy, but maybe search up how to, generally, get bolts to stick in loose holes.

Just picked up the saw yesterday. I make high costumes using EVA foam. So I think this work for foam easily. The only thing I was thinking is. I’m trying to figure out a jig to cut a straight line? Maybe clamp of 1 by 1 to cutting platform?

take the handle off and use 2 nuts or a nut and handle or a nylon lock nut

Well, I just got an ad from Harbor freight this week for a discount, so will be going to purchase the same type. If i figure out the locking system I'll let you know

Possibly Blue Loc-Tite may help, I use it on Second Ammendment Products.

Ditch the glue sticks and use spray adhesive.

If it's within the 90 days I would bring it back and exchange it for a different one it sounds like it has a defect in it right out of the box that one that you got

See if the knob will come completely off then put a lock washer on then tighten down the knob.

And by the way them things can cut up to 2 in depth
