The most ENTERTAINING bollywood movies post pandemic for me.
Perfect mix of comedy, horror, story, cameos, romance & a subtle message to the society.
Story continues after Stree 1 post credit scene. The best part is that the maker have made a new movie but they didn't tamper with a simplicity & authenticity which was loved in Stree1.
All actors have done a fantastic job. Rajkumar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi. But the way director Amar Kaushik has used Shraddha is amazing. She carries a superstar aura & lights up the screen each time.

Overall a MUST WATCH.

Stree is not just a film. It is indirectly portraying reality of society . Sarkata represents chapri sigma and alpha mard who are spreading toxicity. They are successful in connecting wide range of boys around and influencing them . However, at the end, both man and woman combine to defend them indicating that men and women can together fight these mentally ill sigmas. I was watching the film in cinema, in beginning when a girl was being shown abducted in Stree 2, he said, " aur ladikyan BF se milne ke liye raat mai ghumo, acha hua saar kata le ja rha hai ". At the end, he himself got mad Stree(woman ) along with support of men killed the Sar kata and created a perfect society.

Rajkumar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana have established themselves as the modern-day 'heroes' of the everyman. Just like Amol Palekar and Farooq Sheikh used to be in the 70s and 80s.
Rao.. especially, is making incredible choices and rising like a phoenix with every film of his! 🔥

Stree has very deep meaning. It is portraying patriarchal mindset and society which hayes independent women.It also depicts how widows were treated. Not sure why no one is talking about it.

1. How varun dhawan could go to the Sarkata's area...he was a male...not combination of both...
2. At the time when rajkumar goes to meet jana his beard was clean and while meeting him, he was bearded...

You didn't even mention Rajkumar Rao in the film. He is the soul of the movie. Shraddha was amazing, no doubt in that, but it's Rajkumar who did the heavy lifting.

Stree was way better than Stree 2. Have to say that. It definitely could have been much more wholesome, the feel that the 1st installment gives.
Having said that, it was an impressive successor, and a hype-worthy movie within the universe
