𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿? 𝗔 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀

Franz Kafka in his novel "The Metamorphosis" talks about a story
of a man who suffers due to his absurd
transfiguration into the body of an insect one night,
although this transformation of Gregor Samsa is kind of
erratic for the reader as kafka didn't provide
any prior details about his condition & situation
which leads him into the body of the insect.

Later
Gregor faces challenges in doing his daily chores as
well as he could not go to the office, where he works
as a salesman. His sudden mutation leads the family
into a different new perspective towards him, &
he sees a change in the compassion & attitude of
his sister, father, & others.

Similarly in "Metamorphosis" doujin (H manga), Shindo L talks about a young girl Saki Yoshida, who is very shy & introvert. But, in a series of heinous events (I'll not spoil), she kinda transforms into a girl who chases Sexiness. She becomes outgoing, transforms her physical appearance from a girl next door to literally a h**ker. Saki becomes entangled in a cycle of manipulation, substance ab*se, & s3xual exploitation by Men around him, & just like Gregor, her family plays a crucial role in indulging this impact even worse.

Now, my question is, both Gregor & Saki are victims of society's scums.

Gregor went into rejection “what now then?” He asked himself as he looked around in the
darkness. He was left with nothing, he could not
walk, could not communicate, could not relate to
anyone, this dilemma led to isolation & a play of
fracked human relations in front of him leaving him
broken.

Similarly *spoilers* Saki was left alone in a pregnant situation, being r***d by her former classmates, later beaten by them & left with grave injuries. Gregor & Saki both had pathetic experience from the people, they believed the most.

Gregor & Saki both were forced to death for their inability to provide anymore. Both of their families
crushed, outcasted, humiliated & at last forced to be isolated & dejected by
ruthless society.

Both represent well the struggles of both men and women experience. As men are burden with the responsibility that they have to discard their own emotionally and a physically part if themself to provide for others, like how Gregor is suffering because he can’t provide for his family and believes he is a burden, while Saki represents how society sees girls only for their looks and purity, even if it isn’t their fault, if they lose their innocence and beauty because of someone else then they are treated worthless. Both stories is about how our worth and values of us can be lost easily and what happens when we are useless in the view of society and ourselves. Both really are amazing pieces of fictions

Good doesn’t mean to be dumb you could be good and smart just take the example for- batman or guts or L or thorfinn, it’s just which path you choose you could stay good and continue your journey everyone’s life’s are different and yes there are few exceptions but that doesn’t mean there is something bad of being good you could also take the mythological or religious example of Krishna or Rama who is good and stays and supports good also he is smart and intelligent and also resists of being evil and eliminates it.
Just remember- “ALL TRUELY STRONG PEOPLE ARE KIND”

You're the first person to even think of this stuff. Just wow. I've read both of them and you decided to analyse them. Hats off man.

I really just read the Metamorphosis manga just now based off these comments for its literary merit lmao. To be honest it is actually pretty decent at giving off a similar vibe showing how society views people based on what they can provide over their actual character and how being someone who seeks validation based on that will only result in you being hurt. I think Kafka’s work is still much better but the manga had surprisingly more actual content to it than I expected. I’m so desensitized to this type of thing that it wasn’t particularly traumatizing but it was pretty depressing throughout.

Franz one was a slow burn of self loathing and loss of importance meanwhile shindol's metamorphosis was a downward spiral of tragedy after tragedy with the rays of hope being destroyed by catastrophic failures of fate plus it hurts more because the mc is a female

For my entire life, i thought showing good was absolutely even its bad for you. I was a fool blinded by every person have good side, but sadly i was surrounded mostly selfish people. That makes you realize that it doesn't matter what you do, the old world, a generation has become a past. Being good is curses now, something that will never leave me, im greatful how my paretns reased me to be good, but their generation was different. Now i only wait for everything to end. Nothing more.

Its a prison in my own house. I wake up like him everyday and it crushes me, I'm tired and I see no scape. Alienation, loss of self, lack of love, connection and comprehension. A prison of the mind is more powerful than a prison of the body. Surviving, surviving, surviving. I've been surviving since I was 10 years old. My grief and sadness are bigger to me. Its another day and I see no scape yet again...

Ok so let me specify something, i know cognitive functions are not well regarded in scientific community because of them lacking any ability to be used as psychological tool . But i somehow find them very handy in explaining human cognition .
So here i go, i believe good people are the people who have very high Fe dependence, due to which they crave to follow the moral path layed in the social fabric. And the moral path is designed to make the social order efficient not to provide one with any sort of joy or fulfillment, which was (maybe ) the incentive of the "good " person, due to him having high fe .
On the other hand people having high Fi are generally regarded as bad people (people who object layed down morals and seem to create social inefficiencies) and they end up acting for their own reasons (high fi) .
But the sadness lies here, one holds both fe and fi, but in different proportions, so one may desire social validation (fe) more than his uniqueness (fi) or the other way around, but one always would also desore the other . How ever choices seem to limit us on either of the path generally .
So maybe both good people and bad people suffer, its just we don't expect good ones to have similiar fate .
Also if you read till last please type "*" in comment

I always noticed the similarities with the two works, almost like them both give the same message in a different way

Do you think that the story I find somewhat interesting people have plucked out of metamorphosis(the H one) was intentional or just designed as the sick fantasy its origins suggest it may be? Is their an interview with the author out there? If so I would love to find it.
