I love these trucks! They are a fantastic option for those who can afford them and need a dedicated towing beast! Great review and showcase as always. I also love having a pickup truck bed for those trips to the hardware and feed store when not towing.

As a truck driver who is currently sitting in a Kenworth T680 with a 455hp/1850 ft-lb 13 liter MX series engine and a 16-speed Eaton Fuller Ultrashift Plus with 3.55 rear axles..

This is a damn nice truck too. I'd buy one if I had the cash.

Love TFL series. Many great reviews of vehicles (like this Freightliner) that I would never own, but find very interesting and watch just for fun. Glad they review them.

The way light duty trucks are going, this is a sneak peek at the 2030 group of trucks lmao

4:53 seconds in. Yes it is CDL territory IF used in commerce. You can buy it for private use and pull your own trailer WITHOUT a Commercial driver's license. If you are pulling your stuff and not in commerce, no cdl. Colorado you can drive with a standard license as long as it is registered as and rv and not commercial, even pulling your own trailer. Some states have a non-commercial class system for this set up but still not a cdl requirement.

"A lot of hot air on this truck" says Mr. Truck. Got a good chuckle from that comment. The tire balancers which supposedly add 25% or more life span to the tires was interesting.

Well I would be happy with a $65K-$70K dually. Then I could save the extra $100K

We’ve got a Peterbilt 335 4 door all black. With the same flatbed. It’s a Cummins ISX that’s been deleted. We use it to pull our 49 ft horse trailer. We absolutely love it. We had bought a Freightliner exactly like that on but it couldn’t handle the trailer but it had a mersadies Benz engine.

Growing up we had a kodiak truck that towed our 37ft toy hauler to motocross races. Very roomy and very comfortable. This is league's above the kodiak.

Look at the price of an A class Tractor. It can be had for $160k, or less. Compare that to a $90k pickup, and you’ll see that pickups are overpriced.

I'd like to see it run up and down the Ike Gauntlet along with MPG numbers towing and not towing to see how it compares to a 1 ton dually in all aspects!!

It is so funny how they compare this to a dually. Not really comparable, but great review non the less. Good job guys 👍🏼

I want to correct some things that Mr. Truck said. The dash regeneration button only enables the user to do a manual or stationary regeneration when the DPF is highly soot loaded. If you hit the button and that condition is untrue, it will do nothing. Also, there should be no reduction in performance when the regeneration is occurring while pulling on grade, although fuel economy could be different.

It would be really cool if they could coordinate the GPS unit with the Regen unit to enable automatic burn off prior to arriving at a steep grade.

Chevy, GMC, International and Ford had these back in the 2000s...

So rich people can pretend to be super trucker 9000

It's the other way around Andre. 1 ton luxury dually trucks will put this to shame in price, in basically everything.

“The key is over here on the left like all semi trucks”.... with a freight liner badge on it

I'm lost here, for what this cost you can get a class 8 road tractor. The dash is the same as a mid 2000's Columbia. Why not just buy a platinum f550 and have a more practical vehicle. And I hate the horn blowing just because I didn't pull the park brake before opening the door. I guess this is what a Dr buys for his wife to pull the wife's 2 horses.

Hey guys, all trucks with air brakes have two tanks. Primary and secondary. Everything on the truck runs off that system, seats to brakes. Love the channel
