Lyrics:
Look out
Coming out of my box now
I been picking at the locks now
And I’m on the outside

Deep breath
Walking out of the shadows
Following where the wind blows
Taking my time

So long since I -
Since I felt this way
So long to the shadows of yesterday

Who’s that looking out from the mirror
A little bit leaner, meaner
She figured it out

Can’t believe what I see
It’s almost hard to believe
This other side of the street
I’m standing on
Sing a sigh of relief
I never felt this complete
I’m floating up to the ceiling
Can’t believe what I’m feeling

Feels good

Reach up like a weed from the pavement
Shake my head in amazement
I got a lot of living to do

So long since I -
Since I felt this way
So long to the shadows of yesterday

So long since I felt this way
So long to the shadows

I still don't know why Sara doesn't have a really following . Been watching her online for many years - great voice, energy - love watching her live wacky Wednesday vids too - I hope more folks pick up on her very diverse presentations. A true talent that shares some of the fun she has S I N G I N G.! Love her bunches.

Love the idea for the video. They symbolism in the color exploding against the initial monochrome white with the evolving attitude toward life. Just the right attitude with facial expressions with the lyrics. Looks like you had a lot of fun with it.

Rumor has it, Sara is still finding splashes of coloured powder all over the house to this day.

You know it's a good song, video, and an amazing artist when there's not one damned dislike! You're amazing Sara!

I love the video as much as the music. That does have a feeling of opening the Locks and feeling the freedom that we had as a kid to do some messy finger painting of our little world with whatever colors we imagine.

I love how Sara "knows" the feeling of her songs, it comes together well you hear the nuances on the keys strings and tempo. It's that passion in all of it that makes you nod smile and funk out a bit.

Well, you've been interpreting so much other work so brilliantly, the only best evolution is to "pick the locks" of you own beautiful soul by producing art that is truly your own. Thank you for sharing Sara.

Surely, I think making this video was a fun experience for you.
The music brings back good memories... I think this is a "metaphor" for the pool full of noodles from the patch adams movie 😅
Why see everything in black and white? "add colors to life, enjoy the moment and have fun in the process"
Lovely as

What can I say? I like it. Sara has a way of putting so many layers in her material. I find something new every time I listen. The journey has been an earworm buffet for me. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Well, what can I say but BRAVA!!! I love this video and how you used the props and colors to interpret the lyrics of LOCKS! The visuals are the perfect prism, separating the monochromatic past into an extremely colorful future! Well done, Sara! And the song rocks!! Kudos to Linda Taylor, too, for the musical production!
