Look there are actors like Daniel Day Lewis and Andrea Riseborough or Rebecca Hall who just completely disappear into every role. I honestly have a hard time recognising Riseborough from role to role. There's zero.. absolutely zero resemblance between the tv news reporter on Disconnect and the reluctant IRA (operative/mom) in Shadow Dancer or the Nurse in Kindness of Strangers. But if every actor had to be able to pull that off then we'd have a very very short list. No Stewart ain't that but she's very good at bringing a very real useful natural presence to the screen. She's actually very earthy and instinctual strong and compelling in her own way. I like her more and more.
