I shot this video to share my experiences living with the Coronavirus (COVID-19). I discuss the symptoms I've experienced, the treatments that have helped with recovery and the process I've been enduring to keep my family safe. Thank you, for sharing I was diagnosed on March 23, I ended up in the hospital for 3 days had double pneumonia along with it, I was discharged home yesterday I am day 16, I suffered so much on days 10, 11 and 13 my oxygen levels dropped had to be on oxygen for 2 days in the hospital . If it wasn’t for God I would not have made it . I am quarantined for another 5 days before I get retested . I pray that I get a negative result next week I miss my family so much I can’t hug them but I am grateful for being alive

The lesson to learn from this is that if you show symptoms then stay home. He sounds like an intelligent guy so I am surprised he went to the gym. Crazy.

Thank you SO MUCH for doing this, Gene. Both my fiancee and I work in an ER here in Vermont, and one of the biggest problems right now with people is their fear of the unknown. We have people coming in off the street and literally stealing supplies. It's getting totally out of hand. I am so sorry that this happened to you my friend, but what you are doing by sharing your first-hand experiences with this is INVALUABLE as far as educating people. Thank you so much again. Hearing everything you just said, I think me and my family had this in February, but there were no reported cases of community spread at the time. I had all the symptoms you mentioned and my wife developed a pneumonia after the first week. We've all recovered from it, but in my 39 years, I've never felt that sick that I was.

Gene, I’m glad your doing better. I work in hospital labs on medical equipment and am quite nervous I’m going to bring it home to my family. Thank you for the calming words. I will always keep listening !
