Greetings from Pound Ridge, NY. Great summary as usual DCR. Hope the new year brings joy and happiness to you, the girl and the peanuts. Looks like the cycling market is in logjam status with demand for bikes outstripping supply. My guess is that in a year's time (barring a prolonged lockdown) will see a boom in the used bike market. My other best guess is that Garmin, Wahoo and others will build more indoor capability to head units to capture the Zwift warriors (like me).

I´m wearing the Forerunner 235 since X-Mas 2015 (got it also on Black Friday back then for 188 USD). Fenix 6 is still expensive at 500 USD/Euro. The Fenix 6 is the only reasonable upgrade from my old 235 in my opinion.

If you only had money to buy one device would you go with a Fenix 6 or Edge 830? Most of my rides are on Zwift and I want to get the training metrics in Garmin connect.

A lot of rumors put the forerunner 955 in Q1 2021...i really don't know if a fenix 6 is a good choice now...but i really like it

The garmin Fenix 6 sapphire at garmin is 549. I’m so mad, I bought my Fenix Sapphire three days again now I have to return it to get 100 back or not. Lol
