Easy Top-Down Seamless Crochet Sweater for Beginners - Free Crochet Pattern

Показать описание

This top-down pullover is a breeze to create, featuring a seamless raglan style designed with simple double crochet stitches. Thanks to the user-friendly design, this pattern is a fantastic introduction to crocheting your own wearable masterpiece.

The tutorial begins by showcasing how to crochet the collar using single crochet stitches in the back loop only. It then provides guidance on counting rows and joining the collar.

Moving forward, the video illustrates crocheting around the edge of the collar to initiate the yoke, which is structured into four distinct sections—sleeves, front, and back. The yoke unfolds with simple double crochet stitches, each section divided by V stitches.

Watch as the tutorial demonstrates expanding the yoke to the desired size, followed by separating the body and sleeves. The body is then worked in a continuous round, finishing with a ribbed band for a polished finish.

Follow the process of reattaching the sleeves, implementing decreases to refine the sleeve width, and mastering the reverse slip stitch join technique.

Lastly, the tutorial guides you through crocheting a ribbed cuff to complete the sleeves, resulting in a beautifully finished pullover ready to be worn with pride.

This will be my 3rd sweater using this pattern. I know the pattern by heart at this point. I used different yarns before but this time I used this exact yarn in the same color way. It fits perfectly every time, that's why I trust your patterns, they always fit. Thanks, can't wait for your next creation!

This pattern works up beautifully! It's so easy to follow. Started on Sunday night and already 3/4 of the way through my first sweater. Thank you MJ!

I started working on this on Saturday afternoon, and I just split for the sleeves. It works up so fast, even though I accidentally bought the DK version of the Mandala yarn!

My boyfriend likes the look of it so much that he bought yarn yesterday to make his own. He just learned how to crochet, and this will be his 3rd/4th project (his first was a sweater vest, second was a cardigan, and he’s working on a granny square cardigan).

My friend is expecting a baby in the fall, and they will definitely be getting the infant version of this pattern (and a matching one for their toddler).

Thank you for such a simple, yet elegant pattern! ❤

I love it. You're definitely helping me learn the craft. I'm hoping there's a V-neck variant of this design in the works.

Thank you so much for this tutorial of this sweater! I'm glad you did an update on this tutorial❤. This is going to be my first time trying to crochet a sweater. And i found this tutorial more detailed and also has more visual footage of the steps that need to be made, then the other video of this sweater. The steps where also shown slower, so i could keep better track of what i needed to be doing. So thank you so much for the update of this tutorial!😊❤.

I love your video's a lot!
Thank you for all the work you put in making the tutorials and for sharing it with us😊.

Greetings from the Netherlands.
