Creating a service page. A how-to-video for content designers and editors.

Service pages are the most used content type in LocalGov Drupal.

Create a new blank service page by selecting ‘add content’.

Search for the parent of this new page (ie where it sits in the IA). This creates the breadcrumb.

Write a page title.

Write a summary field. This appears below the title and is also used if this page is linked to a sub service page as the description.

The main page content is created in the body field. Use the style drop down to access the content patterns

You can add page components such as external links or contact details by selecting the page components option.

You can task buttons too, linking to key tasks.

You can also add related page links that sit on the right.
