The reason marquez turned down that deal is that he didn't want to risk his win in their epic rivalry. If you watched all the 4 fights, you'll understand why Marquez didn't want to fight him anymore. It hurts for me to say this since i am a filipino and a fan of pacquiao(in boxing), but we have to admit that Marquez did win the 2nd and 3rd fight it was so obvious. Marquez won the rivalry and it was awesome. He was not afraid of Manny like other filipinos say, he was being smart.
