i would say DII is playing with retailers money buying at this level. which will not give any return for at least 1 year. Retailers should stop investing and find alternatives so govt would not dare to impose tax.

January to May this year, injection happened. June was good and July mostly, I think last week Tuesday they did injection again. Hopefully SEBI will take strict action and keep such firms away from Indian market.

Today you have given a convincing logic about why DIIs buy when FIIs sell....entirely based on economics....FIIs sell when the prices are high, which in turn brings prices down and the DIIs grab the opportunity to buy stocks at lower prices.

But, let me remind you that, only in the recent past, particularly before elections, you were strongly hinting at connivance between the government and the DIIs in ensuring that the market doesn't crash and the DIIs being under compulsion to buy!
