I fell into the Good Omens fandom ahhhhhh-
So I animated the battle in heaven impulsively o—o’

I also like the headcanon of each angel/demon have different bird wings so I tried incorporating that idea in this though sometimes it’s hard to tell

This explains why Crowley has no other part of his body affected other than his wings turning black and his serpent eyes, because he’s still an angel by heart, he didn’t choose to fall while (most) of the others did. After all, he only hung around the wrong people.

Honestly, I don’t think Crowley would’ve told Aziraphale how the fall felt. How terrifying and scary it was. How it impacted him.

Besides, he didn’t fall. He just sauntered vaguely downwards.

Oh my someone, the TENSION and the raw TERROR portrayed here is just so good, I can't handle it. You can see it all rise up when Raphael/Crowley realized that he'd signed up for WAY more than he'd thought and was completely overwhelmed and yet was punished without any mercy. That particular angle where the "camera" follows and zooms in on him trying furiously to fly away and still getting struck down was a particularly emotional and beautiful shot.

That was Amazing! Crowley praying for god and then he and Lucifer's angels falling and turning was gorgeous!

had to watch this four times in regular speed, then twice at half speed, once at .25 speed, then another five times at regular speed. I'm just so shook at how fluid and beautifully heartbreaking this animation is, and I don't know how else to show how much I adore it
What I noticed:
-Crowley definitely just hung around the wrong people, since Hastur and Beelzebub tempted him to make a deal with Satan
-He hesitated; he had asked Gabriel before, but he wouldn't tell Crowley WHY he couldn't hang out with Satan. Instead of giving answers, he just walked away and expected Crowley to obey (this part was so fast, I only caught it in the .25 speed)
-Only after remembering the dismissal Heaven had toward him did Crowley make the deal
-By the time he learned the 'why' that Gabriel refused to tell him, war had broken out and he was on the wrong side
-Instead of fighting back when Gabriel and all the other angels tried to attack him, Crowley just tried to dodge and escape as best he could (and my god he looked so betrayed after that initial dodge...)
-Crowley literally begging God to save them because he still believes in Her ("Save us my God if you're there!")
-Regretting the handshake
-Watching all his friends be smited down with those fiery lightning balls, and terrified to be hit as well (THAT FLYING ANIMATION AS ONE HURTLES TOWARD HIM OMGGG)
-When he finally does land in Hell, he looks miserable whereas the other demons seem pleased with themselves for following Satan
and finally...
-Aziraphale's face. I can't help but feel like he's the one who sent the lightning bolt to smite Crowley (either on purpose or not) and feels incredibly guilty, just based off of how wretched he looks


Also, tiny sidenote: the last 7 or so seconds sounds absolutely horrifying at .25 speed *shudders*

Crowley looks so absolutley terrified when he realized what was happening! He looks so sweet and innocent, I can't deal with it!
