A mid range SSD is all you need
Edit: For gaming that is idk whether you need more for editing or content creation or any other stuff

I've always used Intel-Solidigm professional/enterprise class SSD's & they have never let me down. Even the first ones that I bought a decade ago are still working today at 100% health & have only used a 2-3% of their rated endurance (TBW). They cost a bit more, but are worth it for peace-of-mind.

Pretty sure there are some mistakes in it though so I normally check the specs of the model I am buying on the website as well.

Currently as of this comment HP is having a sale on a fantastic M.2: the FX900 Pro. It has Gen 4 speeds, DRAM Cache, comes with a heatsink, and is the cheapest on the ‘zon compared to the other M.2s. I got a 1TB one for $66.

I wish if there was list like this for the other pc parts 😢

When buying SSD's you need to know only 2 things : Do you have an M.2 slot, and what PCIE version does your motherboard support.

Then just get any ssd that fits from trusted brands like Samsung, Kingston, Crucial, Sandisk, Western Digital etc... You really can't go wrong with Nvme SSD's. They're all just so fast that the numbers don't mean anything.

For gamers, 90% of ssds are fine. Just find one at a good price

Hey Zach, I was looking at the ssd list and saw that a few numbers are really far off, notably Teamgroup ones. The GE pro doesn’t have 14000MB/s write and the G70 pro definitely doesn’t have 74000MB/s read
