Newkirk Plaza, because it narrows so close together on each side between the local and express tracks, is a perfect place to find two trains departing right next to each other, with a beautiful surrounding area and perfect contrast between fleets. The Brighton line consists of the B and Q lines, with the B running weekdays only on the express track, and the Q running 24/7 on the local track. The B line consists of strictly R-68's and R-68A's based out of Coney Island Yard while the Q consists of R-46's, R-68's and R-68A's all together, also from Coney Island Yard. Because of Concourse maintenance and a shared system between the B's homing depot and Concourse which helps with B's on the opposite end, the B is prohibited to run R-46's due to Concourse not being able to maintain that type of fleet. However, whilst the Q might be the only line to be able to run R-46's, it is still possible to catch an R68/A Q next to an R68/A B, to watch the same fleet side by side depart from the station with each other. #mtasubway #shorts

Sorry for the absence of a full length video this weekend, lack of activity has led it to only be shorts this time around, however, at least this is more train content in general!
