Appreciate you! I had to hard reset my old network settings first by pressing the SETUP BUTTON(THE TOOL SYMBOL) press it until 11 is displayed and then press either the black or colour button at the bottom of your printer. Once this was done your guide worked a charm. I moved house so my printer was connected to my old WiFi and I couldn't remove it in the app without error. So hope this info helps others

The instructions that came with the printer had an entire different guide.
Cannon are seriously stupid that they cant make a simple setup guide.

Thank you, this video helped me a lot. Canon online or manual was so pain to read and find the right answers. I think canon is kinda bad in that case, their homepage is a mess
