I just finished making it, and the flavor is amazing. I would classify it as a hot bbq sauce, not excessively but the cayenne could be reduced. I started with one cup of water and that seems the right thickness for my taste. To reduce the sugar I used Swerve brown sugar substitute so I estimate the sugar to be reduced by half.
The beauty of this recipe is I had all the ingredients on hand, so in 15 minutes it was done except for the simmering.

Tuffy, can you do more backyard cooking videos. I was shocked that you did the brisket at that 275 temp in 6 hours!

Tuffy, love ya but this is a basic sauce recipe. Stop promoting your cookbook. I hate watching a vid that promotes something. Get back to cooking
