Terraria 1.4.4 Nights Edge againts Destroyer (Expert Mode)

This melee rework is so amazing. I think that skeletron prime is also do able with the same setup.

Keep the minimap on so you can see where the head is coming from. That way you don't get hurt and can dodge the head which does the most damage.

Hah, yeah. I tried this a few days ago and was surprised by how viable it was. I almost killed skeletron with it in the same night but ran out of time with only a few thousand HP on the boss.

It’s crazy to think this is actually an optimal strategy for melee even on master mode. Imo the new knight’s edge is the new pre-nerf Daedalus stormbow. It’s literally the best sword from skeletron to post-mech bosses. Excalibur is on par for damage but knight’s edge has more range and you can aim with it.
