The Collaborative Challenge: Making Quality Decisions Together in the Age of Complexity

This video was developed by Matt Koschmann, a professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Colorado Boulder. The purpose is to explore the topic of collaboration and explain a constitutive communication approach to enhance our understanding of collaboration.

This is a truly excellent video. Collaboration/conflict resolution has been the primary field I've worked in for the past 40 years. Recently I have been looking for a short video that would outline the concept and principles of collaboration for audiences that want or need to work collaboratively, but don't understand it or know how. I have literally looked at dozens and dozens of online videos -- only to find nothing that was very good for my purposes, until I found this Matthew Koschmann video. If you need to introduce the value and principles of collaborative action to a group this video is invaluable.

Very impressive, I was looking for something like this under the terms of quality systems challenges and this video came up when I used the term collaborative challenges, it just demonstrates what every company goes through nowadays with the constant changes but with the needs to be compliant while fast changing. This is more then ever applicable through all works of life, Great job. Question is will the viewer really understand it, it takes two to tango. Often the people who feel hindered by this collaborative way of thinking will just ignore it regardless as it does not suit their main agenda.Never less it is a great reminder video and the hope dies last, some may get the message.

Excellent video, and I have some considerations to review with you that may very well impact the world in a marvelous way, much along the lines of collaborative policy changes through online collaboration platforms under standards of principled, reasoned and rational objectivity in lawmaking. I'm hoping you'll present a TED Talk after we've gone over this information.
