Let's see if we can piece together a racing/hotrod riding mower from junk. I have had a Murray riding tractor frame and a 12.5 briggs and stratton engine laying around. I want to make a fun budget friendly machine to go fast.

Nice video, your videos inspired me to get into repairing and selling lawn equipment. I got a natural gift to fix things ever since I was a kid. Got a bunch of push mowers I'm fixing, some I pulled out of a dumpster. Always check and see if the engine is seized or not. Got a old craftsman 2 garden tractor, needs some work but I'm planning on turning it into a fun toy. All the craftsman needed was gas to run, bought it as a non-runner. Has a fuel leak, carb needs rebuilt, needs new ignition switch, needs new voltage gauge, and a new gas cap. And an oil change. Has a 18hp kholer magnum engine. Runs like a dream, minus the slow throttle response. And after tighten up the steering.

ive raced mowers for 10 plus years, nice job, may i make a sugestion lower the rear down more, and the front to or or it will tip over going that fast, my race mower got speeds of 45 plus, have fun. Also to go faster put a big pully on the engine and small one like the one on the gear box and it will fly.

Those old murrys are so easy to do that I had a 7 inch pully on my engine and a 3 inch on the rear end and I got it to 25-30 mph and ran out of road I even built my own race track it would fly

I just got a riding mower that someone was literally throwing out. It just had a sticky bendix and the fuel line was rubbing on the blade belt so it tore into the line. But now it’s ready to be my project

Now flip the front drive pulley over. You will get decent speed with the small rear pulley.

I noticed the Briggs single cylinder by your batteries. Let me guess, is it blown? I had a small engine for 12 years and had well over 100 of them that cracked the blocks. I think the blocks are too thin for the large single Piston

Drill two holes and it’s easy to remove the pulley with cross bar puller😊😊
Any parts numbers on the pulley???
I will have to order one, nothing local
